You’ll still find a lot of remnants from the railway system. Two tunnels between the main gate of Valletta and Portes des Bombes followed by a stone bridge. The Floriana, Hamrun, Attard and two stations in Rabat. You can also see the railway embankment in Attard too. There’s a very active railway group which you should check out.
Why don’t they bring back this as an underground line , just start off small and build on it. This line alone would make an impact on the central area, and also regenerate Valletta and Rabat.
