Germany, YouGov poll:

  1. Fascists on putin’s payroll are coming second. Good job, my country.

At least their best buds in Linke are not that successful, but still got an extra percent.

Still, 23% of the government pushing putin’s agenda sucks a big deal.

  2. The Greens were talking about Putin’s inadequacy at a time when most German parties were building Nord Stream 2 (although the Greens were also against the victim having anything to defend himself with). I hope the Germans will take this into account in the elections

  3. Just want to add that there is a massive anti green campaign on full blast on every even remotely conservative adjacent media, so pretty much every media.

And before people gather their last 3 remaining braincells and go “hurrdurr its justified tho”, the “scandals” are laughable in comparison to an average tuesday for the CDU (provable corruption in a gajillion cases) or FDP (pretty much the same). Even Spd with Scholzes Cum Ex get talked less about than something something heaters, something something

Habeck would have been the best and only hope Germans had for an potential chancellor that isnt entirely in the pockets of the industry, so obviously he needs to be destroyed.

We are probably looking at the conservatives coming back next election, with Merz being closer to DeSantis than Merkel. I kinda gave up on my fellow germans.

still gona vote green tough and pray that im not the only one who realises whats happening

  4. Funny how the colors of CDU/EPP (conservatives) and AFD/1D (right wing) are swapped. Here in Germany, some put them together in the right corner.

  5. When I see the Turks and Arabs who migrated to Germany as workers, I am not surprised that a stupid neo-Nazi organization like the AFD received such high votes.

  6. AfD being this high is yet another symptom of Europe becoming increasingly right wing (if not reactionary). In Italy and Austria their AfD equivalents are already the biggest parties. In my country they poll third with around 11% support. I think the only outliers are the Anglo countries where left/progressive parties are becoming more popular than ever.

  7. French here , can someone explain mains points of this graphic ? ( I mean who lead and why ? )

    Since we’r neighbour =) .

  8. I almost got a stroke from seeing the blue party getting 31% percent.

Then I realize still 31% of the population want to vote for the Union…

  9. But Germany has %30-35 immigrant background population. How is gonna work like that? They are from the Balkans, ME, Caucasus, Africa. If racism happens, likely backfires and destabilizes Germany. This would be catastrophic for European (also Turkish) economy

  10. At this point I’m more afraid of the AfDs incompetence than their racism. They already waste so much fucking money and are completely unable to follow the simplest procedures. If they would ever govern the country, it would be the demise of all of us, not only the non-bio-german people or whomever they would target. The only people getting anything out of an AfD gov would be the top 0.01%.

  11. I think the government, especially the greens, shot themselves really hard in the foot with the proposed new Buildings Energy Act.

It is simply not realistic to not install any new gas or oil heaters starting next year. And if you need 1000x exceptions then it is simply not a good law and even people who support the general idea behind it will start to question it.

And then on top of that you obviously have inflation…

  12. I do love the irony of Afd being the party that essentially wants to retry the the same shit that failed twice before.
