My bulgarian girlfriend and I are planning to marry next year. We decided to do the wedding in Bulgaria and we are looking for locations right now. We found one or two already but I wanted to ask if any of you has any locations, tips, etc.

We are looking for a not-so-fancy and more relaxed place with a good view (can be in the Rhodope Mountains, can be on the beach – it does not really matter) and good food for around 60-80 people. Preferably the location would be able to have enough room for everybody to sleep at – but this is not a must.

  2. There a couple of places in Perushtitsa – The Hills Brewery made one of the best weddings I attended. Esterra Vini & Pool was also good in the same town.

  3. A wedding in the mountains is not such a great idea. You will be under the mercy of the weather and up there it can change in a matter of minutes.
    Also logistics will be an issue.

    Better pick a spot somewhere around the coast. Better pictures and people love beach weddings.

  6. Check hotel Orbita in Blagoevgrad.

    Good views, very good food, ok service. The whole hotel fits around 100 people, so it’s a good place for small weddings. They also allow loud music till late since they are located in the forest.

  7. Try here https://hoteldobrinishte.com/en . There is enough room for much more guests for the party and you can accommodate in the hotel or in the nearby hotels. Prices are half of the prices in Sofia, for example. And it is in the mountains for sure.

    Also have a mineral pool for the next day on walking distance.
