To be fair that fella would have been taking down Fenian names, before he had his “Road to Damascus” moment. Shoot being nice to Charlie might inspire him to give big money for Ireland reforestation efforts. Something like 90% of our forests are gone, bit sad for a people that used to refer to themselves as the Gaels.
I love the way Irish who claim to be die hard republicans are so obsessed with Britain. It’s like a girl who keeps going on and on and on and on about what her ex is currently getting up to. Obsession like that really only comes from a core of deep unrequited love.

I have a friend up in Donegal who has surprised me with just how much he has celebrated the coronation. He had a party and decorated his living room with red, white and blue bunting.
