  1. Each of us may have a feeling of what will perform better, but if you aren’t convinced yourself through your own research, you will later blame reddit once the results aren’t what you expect.

If you aren’t an expert and don’t fully know what those things are, diversify! 16.6% in each box.

  2. Guess its always good to know the risks associated with any type of funds. Read the KIIDs and try to balance risks as well as investment types. Generally speaking bond funds have lower volatility compared to equity funds.

  3. Are these really all the choices you get? Perhaps you should opt for another pension plan (if the choice is up to you).

Read the Key Information Documents, it will provide you with information on how these products have performed in the past and how much cost is expected to reduce your overall performance (the so-called reduction in yield). It also helps you compare the riskiness of each fund (from 1 (lowest) to 7 (highest) ).

Since it is for a pension plan, allocation usually depends a bit on your time span until retirement. It is not unusual to take on higher risk for longer investment periods (i.e. higher equity share) but never put all your eggs in one basket. I would suggest to diversify across portfolio managers but it seems you only have access to 1.

  4. If you are young, the statistically more probable one to get you gains is the 100% equity one.

However if you are diligent with your investing, investing 1700€/ year will net you more than investing the 3200€ allowed in the pension plan
