There were many similar attempts to do something similar in the past.
One of the interesting ones was called [Interhelpo](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interhelpo). Large group of communist symphatisers moved to Soviet Union from Czechoslovakia in 1923. Czechoslovakia was modern industrialised European economy compared to undeveloped Soviet Union. They moved to Kyrgizstan in Soviet Union. They built the power-station, factory, hospital, furniture factory.
It was an incredible hardship. And then in Soviet fashion it was all taken from them. Their community collapsed and people left with bitter feelings. Lot of them were cured from dream of communism hard way.

As an American, I’m glad for all of them to permanently relocate to Siberia.
Once again Russia fundamentally misunderstands Americans. Those US Conservatives love the US with nationalistic fervor. Why on earth would they move to a third world shithole when there’s plenty of US states that provide a conservative alternative if their own state is too liberal. And they do, millions have moved to Texas and Florida. Russia has absolutely nothing to offer that Americans don’t already have a better version of.
This’ll be even less popular than those campaigns from African countries to attract educated African Americans.

If American conservatives (and some European conservatives) that glamourize Vladimir Putin’s Russia want to live there then they are perfectly entitled to do so, it will end as well for them as it did for the Americans that moved to the Soviet Union in the 1930s.
In all seriousness, I can guarantee you that they would hate living in Russia, similar to how Lee Harvey Oswald hated living in the Soviet Union, and they will probably end up running for Finland or Estonia after a few months. Oh wait, the borders with Finland and Estonia are currently closed.
