> BBC board member Sir Robbie Gibb says infamous £350m claim ‘was not a lie at all – it’s just campaigning’
The brother of Tory MP Nick Gibb and Theresa May’s Downing Street Director of Communications between 2017 and 2019 told colleagues not to investigate Tory lies? I’m shocked…
Idk why some brits deny that the BBC supports the tories a bit too much. Same with the daily heil.
The tories have been the primary governing party in the United Kingdom since 2010. The media, primiarly the BBC seems to never really critisize them enough. So many scandals and oppertunities given I know british journalist are capable. But those that do are never really propelled to any front page.
It’s a bit odd to read brittish media. Now that they have left the EU and don’t have that to blame. They seem to not know what to do with themselves.
Maybe talk about how the party that has been governing the country for more than a decade is not doing a good job?
That’s just my observation.
Honestly the BBC is so poor at reporting on domestic issues. The only time they (sometimes) do actual journalism is when they report on affairs of other countries, you can see the difference between shackled vs unshackled journalism.
There’s definitely a self inflated ego that Britons have about how good the BBC (or British journalism in general) actually is. Basically falling for all the propaganda which uses *exceptionalism* as its core ideology.
The BBC should’ve been burnt to the ground after it was found out top execs new and protects Savill.
And now some keyboard warrior is going to come in and claim tha t the UK is a developed and functioning democracy and that we shouldn’t consider the BBC as the UK version of RT.
