But Cressida Dick-head doesn’t think it’s worth investigating the illegal parties on Downing Street.
*Rules for me not for thee*
Welcome to this lovely country. Imagine thinking corruption isn’t ripe.
Welcome to the UK where corruption isn’t really a thing. We just call it politics
Just resign, not counting Boris’ other scandals he should just fuck off.
Every single person who got any of kind of fine for breaking covid rules should be getting that money back, with interest.
They should refuse to pay the fines right up to Jaling time… huge (likely sympathetic) media circus and public backing and Cons trashed further, esp. as the Magistrates would be forced to jail them.
Last Christmas I spent an eight hour shift head-to-toe in PPE with an FFP3 respirator clamped to my face. We were understaffed, under extreme pressure and with no real end in sight. We were getting equal amounts of claps and abuse (yes, who the hell abuses NHS staff?! Answers on a postcard). I saw my family for a couple of hours over Christmas and those hours I was utterly exhausted. Repeat for each of my colleagues: nurses, doctors, cleaning staff and so on.
Meanwhile in Downing Street…

All these reports of the public’s mistrust in government and the Tory party, while somewhat heartening will all be forgotten the moment an election comes and we’re told about the chaos under Labour, something about anti-Semitism and how pensioners are getting even more money.
F*** THE TORIES. I am just angry.
“Sen, who lives in a £174,000 home in Sittingbourne in Kent…”
I almost understand referencing the value of people’s homes in articles about house prices, but must admit I’m at a bit of a loss as to the point of this sentence.
I hate the Tories too but my God give it a rest already with this weak ass ‘scandal’ I could not give a flying fuck about the supposed party. So what? Do you need the Government to spoon feed you or hold your hand to do the right thing? We know what’s right and wrong and we can listen to independent experts. They broke the rules along with 99% of the rest of the country. The hypocrisy from people is laughable.
Remember Tory voters, this is the man who represents you. You don’t have to ditch the Tory party but you really should ditch him as leader.
Yet while everyone is blindsided by this bullshit, they pushed a bill through that can strip folk of their British citizenship! But ho hey!
Silly billy, breaking the rules when she didn’t have a Tory MP mate to party with.
Didn’t we used to have a lot more power over our government? Like, the kind of power that made them fear the people. Or even wayyyy back when the Queen could dissolve Parliament.
We’ve gone a bit backwards. We’ve let our governments gain far too much power and take zero responsibility. All these years later it’s now become a serious matter and frankly quite dangerous.
Considering how many people have died as a result of his lack of action, Boris should be rotting in a cell for the rest of his day.
That’s everywhere the elite steal cheat and get away with it. Been happening since the beginning of civilization. Politicians are the worst scum on Earth doesn’t matter which party . If you think your party is clean I’ll sell you London Bridge.
Sometimes I honestly think I couldn’t be any more pissed off at the government, but honestly they don’t half try do they?
Most over reach was the snowball fight people being fined.
