I found Kerrygold butter in the single grocery shop in Governors’ Harbour on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas. It was cheaper than in Ireland. I asked how come it was to be found in the Bahamas and was told that Ireland was in The Commonwealth therefore its butter was for sale in the Bahamas! Short Irish history lesson ensued…
