Last time I was at a show this big was REM in 2000 in Landsdown. I hated every moment of it. Could never enjoy these and I’ve been to over 400 concerts and 15-20 have been venues this big. Just felt detached from the band and what they was playing. Gigs in Three aren’t much better but they are what they are.

Just wondering did it rain there last night and if so what time did it start raining as it was pissing in kildare and I thought of the concert…
The thing that changed going to live gigs for me which worked was wearing ear plugs. Not fully noise cancelling but the type that just lower the decibels a bit so you can actually distinguish voices and sounds better, also protects your ears from ringing for the next day
Did anyone catch footage of the guy on shoulders lifting his top for Bruce ? Big hairy chest on him 😀, had me in stitches
