Finally figured out why Käärijä is so popular…

  1. Sorry , but I think the song is shit. Why didn’t they send someone like behm or chisu or eppu normaali.

Why send someone who sings a song that sounds like a mix of mumble rap and a 3 minute youtube tutorial on how to make a pop song in 3 minutes.

  2. Care to elaborate on your findings? As a non-Finnish speaker, I’ve always been curious about the allure of Käärijä.

  3. I dont know am I the only one who thinks “kääriä” and cha cha cha is shit but I just hate the song we have this year

  4. I was just talking yesterday about how is it possible, that in all this time, I hadn’t seen any Käärijä x Vihreä Kuula meme yet. It didn’t disappoint.

  5. So. I have never heard the song, and don’t care about Eurovision much due to the content and especially the format of the contest. (Make yourself hit the headlines and secure votes before the contest even takes place, or you have no chance.) But I know Käärijä looks like a crazy uncooked cabbage roll ( =kaalikääryle, I call Käärijä Kääryle for that reason), and that’s a food I like, so I have a positive image of the whole Käärijä hype that is going on. So like Vihreät Kuulat, I also went to food, but a very different one![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|grin)

  6. Those green marbles were the thing you stored in a cabinet for several years, never to be seen again. One of those Christmas presents I wouldn’t bother to see. For the song itself? Rather mediocre soccer stadium chant, which I’d expect to hear in the UK or similar soccer-crazed countries.

  7. Still haven’t figured out why Loreen’s song is so popular when every other song sounds much better. Is it that subjective?
