Sweden I have no idea why she was nb1 by such a wide margin, it was not that good. The singer cringed me a lot, she looked high, the song is mostly just… “Loud” and incredibly average at the same time.
Finland ok it was weird but lighthearted and memorable, they deserved a good spot.
Israel would have been in last place if it were for me. It was so bad. Cringiest choreography by far, way over the top and the “sexy ness” didn’t catch at all.
I mostly only liked Finland, Norway, Moldova, Austria and Australia.
And France. Even though the finger flipping was entirely unnecessary and she’s just “another French singer who mimicks Edith Piaf”, I liked her song.

Loreen looks **incredible** for a woman at 39. Her choreography and costume was stunning reminiscent of Tina Turner’s Mad Max’ influences and hypnotic europop rhythms. The overall artistic package on stage was so high up that she really deserved the first place. I know there were other fan favourites but if you set the standards so high, you will get beaten by the best. Loreen was the best that night.
The most bland and forgettable song won. I liked Norway, Belgium, Croatia and even Estonia a lot more than Sweden’s song. I have listened to Tattoo a few times to understand why it won but I still don’t get it and my brain retained nothing from this song. Whereas other songs already have been stuck in my head after only having heard them once.
It’s shit. Sweden can send the shittiest song and it will win or be near the top. We could send the best song of the year and be near the bottom.

I think public vote was more objective than juries’.

If a winning song didn’t win any 12 points from any country in public vote, personally speaking the song doesn’t deserve to win in the end. Not against Sweden or Loreen not their fault but this result is ridiculous! Too much weights on the jury vote literally 150 so called professional people hijacked the whole fking competition! If EBU wants this, they could cancel the public voting already! Let the elites decide already! Why waste fans real money on such broken system! Finland win 18 countries’ public vote which is 50% of total participating countries and 9 countries No.2 and he didn’t win into the end!? This is gone too far EBU! I am boycotting you indefinitely!
Poland landed 2/3 down the chart, meh that’s about normal. Germany at the bottom – let’s fucking celebrate 😀
