This is for a “Sales Executive” role but they really need at least 3 separate people to do the job: the sales, the admin, the Customer service. The pay is 30K-35K. I don’t think it’s fair.
They either can’t get the people they need to fill the roles or they are not willing to pay for the people they need, regardless avoid that place at all costs.
– Proven ability to use parentheses (not to be confused with brackets).
Sounds more like a Customer Relationship Manager….
You basically manage your own portfolio of clients and are responsible for the end to end customer journey.
It’s a fairly standard role in my experience and many companies have it.
They’re usually for certain customers who pay a premium to have a dedicated point of contact rather then using call centres.
Your big supermarkets, manufacturers, big companies etc don’t call a call centre to deal with an issue, they have a relationship with someone to deal with it.
It’s a good grounding to move into Business Development Management and other higher up sales positions, that’s possibly why they named it Sales Executive, plus they are appealing to people with a sales background as much of the rest is kinda basic/easy to learn.
“write the theme tune, sing the theme tune”
This job is called “Michael left, and we’re interviewing for what he used to do ”
It’s not a position, it’s a person’s former job responsibilities that they learned over years and they’re not going to find one person to do it.
Sounds like a Sales/Delivery/Customer Care/Accounting Executive. How big is the company and what are they selling, esp as Import/Export is mentioned?
– At least 5 years experience working as CEO of Google.
– 4 PHD’s minimum.
– Proven ability to conjure miracles.
I kinda had a chuckle that they called their system “bespoke”
Business administration
This is the the standard list of expected jobs.
I was on the opposite side Purchasing, but yes same shit.
It look like a lot but most of those requirements are just a new column on an excel sheet, if its set up correctly. Wage is a bit low but that is what the company is will to offer, and if it is sales there could be bonus.
But there is a reason I no longer do this, when you see a hundred fake smile a day all smiles look fake.
Possibly a small company. A lot of hats for very few heads. It’s doable .. I know people who’ve done it. It’s manageable because there’s a little of a lot, if that makes sense.
I did a lot of that, while trying to manage subcontractor work and general engineering tasks.
