What’s the estimated number of unregistered weapons in Serbia?
Pretty stupid thing to do when your country has a history of authoritarian govs and you have neighbors who still harbor some genocidal ambitions towards you.
Great to have all these weapons off the streets.
Yeah the problem with this is, the both mass shootings were done with the REGISTERED weapons. As is the case with most violent crimes in Serbia but media completely ignored that fact.
Also the 13yo kid had homemade molotov cocktails, you can’t ban those. So if someone really wants to comit a crime, he will use any means necessary. We saw attacks in Germany done with cars, are we banning those next?
And getting a gun in Serbia is very costly, long and complicated process. This is just a show from our dictator Vučić to be presented as “protector of the nation”, plain propaganda, nothing more.

Peoples obsession over the US here is unreal. Everything on this subreddit has to also be about the US without fail. It’s not just Americans bringing up the US here. Believe it or not, Europe doesn’t revolve around America. Super hard to believe, I know. The majority of this thread wont be about Serbia or Europe, it’ll be about the US.
We need an r/EuropeEurope where it’s strictly for Europe and about Europe, not Europe with 40% of comments discussing US issues.
Common sense laws is what Serbs need along with a buyback scheme from the government and domestic terrorist laws for mass shootings.
