  1. >A bronze figure of academician Dragan Radenović, about three meters high, will be placed in the middle of June in the square of Europe in the center of Moscow.

    >A monument to the former president of Serbia and FR Yugoslavia, Slobodan Milosevic, will be erected in Moscow in mid-June, announced Dr. Marat Bashirev, one of the initiators of the group of professors of the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University in Moscow, and Dr. Aleksandar Zaldastanov, leader of the popular “Night Wolves” motorcycle club close to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

    >The monument is finished and has already been delivered to Moscow.
Professor Bashirev emphasizes that Milošević was the first major victim of the criminal NATO led by the USA, and that for historical reasons Serbia remained Russia’s only sincere ally in Europe. Milošević paid for the defense of his homeland with his life. Many betrayed him then, and the DOS government kidnapped him and sent him to The Hague. They couldn’t break him, he held on heroically accusing NATO, led by the US, of committing a crime against humanity. We Russians then made a big mistake by not resolutely defending Serbia.

    >The leader of the “Night Wolves”, Dr. Aleksandar Zaldastanov, claims that the preparations and works for the installation of the monument are in the final phase, that Milosevic was one of the few statesmen who prophetically predicted what would happen to us and that he deserved a monument in the center of Moscow.

    >Dragan Radević, vice-president of the Board of Directors of the “Sloboda” Association, says that the Association initiated such an initiative, several years ago in Serbia, to erect a monument in Belgrade and name a street or square after him, which was forwarded and is now waiting in the parliamentary procedure. At that time, the conceptual design of the monument to the Russian academician and distinguished and well-known Serbian sculptor Dragan Radenović was created.

    >Radević continues, they accepted that initiative in Moscow, and as we have been informed, the monument to President Milošević will be opened in mid-June at a solemn ceremony on Europa Square in the center of Moscow.

In4s is a pro-serb and pro-russian source and isn’t reliable, but others sources have confirmed that the monument is already made and is in Russia. The only thing now is to decide where to put it.

  2. A nation commiting war crimes and genocide inspired by it’s equally degenerate ally erecting a monument of the leader that initiated genocide. Nothing to see here, it’s just a normal day for these countries.

  3. This is like pissing to our faces, whole Serbia knows that he is war criminal, and they force their propaganda to us. We don’t support him, we overgtown his regime. ✊

Like we are puking at this news on r/serbia. On our local news nothing about this. They are doing this independently to put more shame on our side, and to try and force us to be with them. And we are not.

    Freedom to Ukraine ✊

  4. They’re desperately trying to show the far right in Serbia how much they care for the Serbs but the reality is they don’t give a single fuck and Serbia is going further away from Russia each passing day. They have 0 allies in whole of Europe Besides their satellite state Belorussia. Whole of Serbia is on the streets protesting current regime. I mean literally whole of it. Hundreds of thousands of Serbs are on the stereets of Belgrade these days.

  5. Might as well start going full tilt at this point. Maybe a statue of Confederate slave owners? How about Ustaše statues? Maybe some Young Turks?

I wouldn’t be surprised at this point.

  6. No suprise here, war criminals are national heros in serbia and serbia being russia’s biggest cocksucker, putin wanted to give something back

  7. This is disturbing in and of itself, but being Hungarian, it makes me genuinely upset because… yeah. :/ I’m genuinely afraid to see how this is going to be handled in the Russian propaganda stream that is 90% of Hungarian public media and how it’s going to play into the brainwashing.

It just makes me infinitely sad and scared to see where things are going in this corner of the world. :/
