I guess that there weren’t many petrol chemical workers on the ground to warrant a quick response.
Worth noting that there were 4000 or so British nationals in Sudan, when France and Germany and other countries had 500 ish
Not a surprise when they very publicly advertised that it would be full of highly trained medical staff who are Sudanese citizens taught at Sudanese universities.
“We couldn’t use our NHS passes to desert Sudan whined doctor…help!”
Of course we selfishly want them here (in spite of the headlines), but the Sudanese army will want them there.
