  1. This feels like a non story. Not a fan of hers (or the Tories in general) but if she has any questions about the bill surely it’s not unreasonable to ask for the costs to be spelled out before just coughing up the dough.

    If, of course, they are all spelled out and definitely hers then she should pay them. But asking for an itemised bill doesn’t sound particularly unreasonable?

I’d say how on earth do you manage to spend that kind of money on nick-nacks in a term as short as Truss’s, but then I remembered as Foreign Secretary she was slammed for spending absolutely obscene amounts, tens to hundreds of thousands of pounds a trip, 10x more than her predecessor’s average. Genuinely hilarious people still take these charlatans at their word!
