  1. Imagine considering this idea to be even remotely controversial. I’m sure Rishi will find a way to sidestep the issue and appoint someone ‘desirable’ anyway though…

  2. Of course not, it undermines the whole point of impartiality.

    A cross party conference sounds an interesting idea I have to admit, though part of me would like it if they could ensure the decision was entirely internal. I guess you can’t do that with a state funded broadcaster though.

  3. The beeb should be entirely free from any gov oversight it’s a public broadcaster they work for the people not the tossers in charge

  5. We don’t stop with the chairman, there’s a bunch of other tories in the higher up positions donating, but everyone is focused on the chairman while they hide in the shadows picking a new bestie
