Yes, that is the only 20m² field with flowers that exists in Luxembourg.
I was just thinking about this the other day. Most the cherry blossom trees we have in Lux are owned by private individuals. The park in the city has barely any flowering trees. I think no one cares again? Or they just want anything to look pretty? Is it a Luxembourgish thing to dislike beauty?
I’m having a hard time figuring out if this is a joke post or not…

I think it’s just stupidity and lack of environmental education as well as lack of environmental legislation. It’s a massive issue and people should honestly take action by complaining to the communes when they see shit like this.
There’s been attempts at campaigns to raise awareness, but it’s by far not nearly enough:
Looks like he’s mowing grass with dandelions seed pods in it. The seed pods develop AFTER the flowers have come and gone. To me, dandelions are a weed I actively remove from my lawn not a beautiful flower to be cherished.
