This is fantastic. There’s one road near where I grew up that’s much worse than the others. I think there’s student housing on it these days which probably doesn’t help. The “fancy” estate is no better off than the others around it.
I baby tell from that where i live
Weird to see howth as just affluent when there is loads of houses for sale for more than 5 million
Something is so very very wrong with this map.
The whole southside by the coast. With blackrock monkstown dalkey etc. Places where a 2 bed house will set you back 1 million plus marked as just above average.
Lived in Dublin my whole life and still couldn’t pin point where I live from these shit maps? Ever hear of area names it would help!!
Has an *accurate* statistical map ever actually been posted on Reddit?
Never knew there were so many affluent people living in Dublin Port.
Is Skerries really more affluent than places like Clontarf/Howth/Malahide/Portmarnock?
The map also lists literally Dublin Port (where nobody lives) as very affluent; and for some reason one half of Bull island is more affluent than the other. Peculiar map altogether.
Phoenix Park is disadvantaged. The homeless probably dragging down the president.
The lighthouse operator on Ireland’s Eye is getting better paid than his counterpart on Lambay Island

This is just the Pobal deprivation index for Dublin. Based on 2016 census data. You can get the whole country on the website.
So according to this, Bull Island, which is uninhabited, half of it is affluent and the other half is above average.
So do the seals on the South side wear Tuxedos or what?
Apparently I live in a “very disadvantaged” area, but the gaff next door sold for 850k a few weeks ago.
Donabate is more affluent than Clontarf…
🤷♂️
The airport doing well there!
Would love to know who the secret millionaire is here.
