  6. I strongly believe that instead worrying what kind of earth we are leaving for our kids we need to worry what kind of kids we are leaving for this earth?

    Edit: I agree both should be done, but right now we are already steering pot enough for one and other is pretty much neglected.

  7. Yet another example of how this country entirely fails to deal with sociopathic/psychopathic behaviour by “kids”.

    Inverted commas because frankly nobody who is capable of such a vicious crime can really be considered a “kid”. They’re foul, evil, disgusting pieces of filth that just happen to be in the adolescent phase. Should be tried and sentenced as adults, their names and mugshots published in the national press, made to face up to some real and serious consequences for their indescribably vile behaviour.

    Let’s just say “kids will be kids” and accept the fact that these pieces of shit walk around mugging people, shiving people, vandalising buildings and vehicles, throwing bricks at buses, setting cars on fire during bonfire night and attacking firemen who came to put those fires out, bullying store clerks, stealing from shops among many other shitty things they do, because they are untouchable thanks to shitty laws established by disconnected from reality deluded fools.

    Story time: a friend of mine used to run a grocery store. Local schoolkids would come into his store, steal, make mess, verbally abuse him and female staff (lots of racism and rape threats), bully him and patrons. Police was involved a few times, fuckall has been done. He then banned all kids unaccompanied by an adult from the shop. Shitty behaviour didn’t stop, but subsided a bit. Then he got a call from a local school who said that there are complaints that he is not letting kids in during lunchtime to buy food. He explained the situation and complained about all the trouble he and his staff was getting from their pupils. He said he’ll start letting them in when he and his staff could feel safe from abuse. Of course fuckall has been done about the brats and he got a few more similar calls from that school. Of course the school did fuckall to fix the problem. I was even a witness of one of the attacks, a group of cumstains were shouting obscenities at him from the doorway, dash away, then come back to do it again a few times. I said to him I could call the police, he said don’t bother, because he tried that before and police does fuckall.

  9. Let me guess the 15 year olds will just get a bit of community service which they probably won’t turn up too, they will get street cred for this and likely make a new drill track about it. Meanwhile their crack smoking parents will be selling stolen meat out their car boot (seen it loads) saying “If they had a youth centre they wouldn’t have done this!!!!!!”.. meanwhile when I was a kid there was a youth centre and guess what, the chavvy kids did go there but drunk stolen alcohol, smoked and smashed up the place so by the time I’d left school it was shut down, the pool tables, tvs and stuff was all smashed or nicked… then those kids would go to skateparks instead and do the same, Rob peiple (including parents with kids stealing their bikes!) And start fights. I hate this country.

    IT IS ALWAYS THE PARENTS

    after i distanced myself from that group they started just going full sociopath mode, commiting arson, jumping other kids, smashing shop windows and stealing from them. we used to sit on park benches smoking bud and drinking 75cl vodka when we were 12, some of us would go home and others would just wander the streets because their parents wouldn’t allow them in their own home or they would just get battered if they did go back. the times they have been caught its been a slap on wrist and a stern telling off, no actual sentence or punishment for literally burning down buildings and seriously assaulting people. i have no doubt they’re heading towards a life of prison and drug addiction.

  13. Had an altercation with a gaggle of whay I assume to be year 7’s a few weeks ago. Was riding my bike, a bit lost due to a closed road and a diversion. I decided to cut through a park and overtook the group on a duel function path. They started shouting the usual anti-cyclist shit and one tried keeping pace with me, once he realised he couldn’t keep up he tried to lamp me, once that failed he tried to kick out my back wheel. Some kids are just ferral and God knows what they’re going to end up like once they come of age.

  18. He’s not a small or elderly man, so the brutality of these three animals to be able to overpower him must have been awful. They sound like savages. I don’t want to be a “oh the world nowadays” sort of old fogey, because there has always been violent crime, but it’s a very sad state of affairs when you can’t even walk your dog without being beaten to death.

    It’s a build up from inaction from the incompetent police for so many years.

    Blame the police funding all you want but the fact remains the police are pretty much non existent for the benefit of the public.

Here in Toronto, we have eight teenage arseholes (three 13-year olds, three 14-year olds and two 16-year olds) similar to these three, with one exception, they didn’t film themselves kicking and beating an man in his 50s to the death and they’re all girls who had never met each other before. They only communicated online. As far as I’m aware, seven are now out on bail leaving one girl still in jail. Their names cannot be released thanks to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

  32. This country has a problem with raising children full stop. Parents who have fuck all idea how to do it and are afraid to discipline their kids. Never mind the absolutely foul ones who reward their kids bad behaviour.

    Mothers would call the police cos their 8 year old hit them, now they’re afraid and he’s smashing up the house and they want the police to get involved. Excuse me? You allow your child to hit you and rule the house with impunity? The fuck is wrong with society. If I had the gall to do that I would have been sent to hell and back twicefold and would have had the fear of God placed into my very veins.

    Nowadays, nothing. No consequences. Too many parents who try to be bff’s with their kids and nothing else. That’s not the point. You’re a guardian, an instructor, a guide first. It’s a responsibility.

  33. For murder (and imo also other serious things like rape, GBH), 15 year olds should be tried as adults.

    For things like robbery, drug trafficking etc they should be treated differently to an adult, as in that case a 15 year old may not fully understand why what they are doing is wrong, who it is hurting, or the severity of the consequences. But for murder especially, any 15 yo should be able to understand the severity and consequences of that, and therefore be tried and sentenced as an adult.

  34. I had a recent incident out jogging, where I was going past a group of youths maybe 16-20 years old, and one just shoved me into a bush. I turned to ask him what was going on and he got right in my face threatening me.

    Quick reaction i shoved him away, hard. Then him and 3-4 of his mates come for me. Next reaction was to run, and thankfully even at my age I’ve got some genuine wheels and these lads had no chance. For 50m you could tell they thought they’d catch me easy (they were all tall skinny types), but i got away.

    I’m in my 40s, I’ve got 2 kids, I’m just jogging minding my own business, and these c*£%& think its okay to push me and then try to kick the shit out of me for defending myself.

    Honestly….

    Its got me thinking about self defence classes and putting more cameras up around my house.

Never known such a violent moronic third world country now as the UK. Ashamed to live in my own pleasant and green land, where uk life was pretty much the safest place to live, apart from inner cities. What’s gone wrong to make 15 year OLDS so violent???

  36. All I have to say is that a justice system based on outrage and retribution (as typified by the top comments here) is primitive and does nothing to address the causes of violent crime.

    And before some cunt starts, that does NOT constitute an argument for ‘letting them off’. People who are a danger to society should be removed from society. But vengeance and emotion is not a civilised or intelligent model for justice.

  39. Teens understand right from wrong. What they lack is a fully developed sense of empathy, which most people learn and developed over time.
    What bothers me is people in this age still follow there own feelings of anger and vengeance to a place where they believe punishment is the only answer. While I think punishment should be part of it, understanding *why* these things happen is much more important.

    if you broke your leg, and we didn’t understand what had happened, we might put plasters on it. Well intended but won’t help the leg heal, or help you avoid breaking it again in the future.

    There is an increase in serious youth violence and I think most would agree that the *goal* is not to have serious youth violence, right? So with that in mind, I think they need to be studied to find out what went wrong, so that it can be prevented. Not just slap a plaster on it after it’s happened
