This is a bit disappointing as Switzerland is currently involved with supporting demining in Ukraine. I understand how these machines are classified as dual use, technically but come on. They can not be used militarily in an offensive or defensive capacity – it’s just because it’s probably also used by ingenieurs / genie troops.
This is yet another manifestly unfair and poorly thought out decision on the part of our government.
TBH anything can be used offensively.
Caran d’Ache should stop exporting pencils, Ukrainians might hire John Wick and use them as weapons!
