    1. “We just got lucky last winter” – then explain how come gas storage levels are vastly exceeding expectations.

    2. “LNG is still too expensive” – no doubt, but gas’ share of energy is falling with a massive boom in renewables.

    The Russian threat of energy blackmail has been used once, it stung, but it is now spent and its impact was far lower than many had assumed.

  2. It’s not really over until Germany can turn its industry back to full production which it won’t be able to for many years without some sort of new energy source.
