School masks: Exempt Wrexham pupils ‘separated from others’

  1. This is actually some decent action on the part of the school. Why should students wearing masks – and their families, and the rest of us – be put at increased risk because someone in their class has an exemption? Someone also needs to explain to these parents that just because their child may be exempt from mask wearing, it doesn’t give them an excuse to ignore the safety of others. If your child is in school, receiving lessons, and doesn’t have to wear a mask then that’s job done, tbh – even if they’re in their own special ‘exempt’ bubble.

People who are exempt increase the risk to those around them – it’s that simple. The most astounding thing here is that it’s taken schools this long to come up with this measure.
