I still fondly remember the guy trying to sell me a HD Ready TV (it was 2008) when I pointed at the ad for a Full HD TV. “No no this is the correct one” – “But that 1. Says HD Ready, 2. Is about half the price and 3. Is another brand” “No no no this IS the one” “No its not (I literally held the ad paper 1 inch from his face)” “Oh youre right its not the one”

And the dude recommending me a 3500 CHF PC tower (that was in 2003 and I wanted a simple office laptop) and when questioned about its specs didnt know shit.
Nice to see at least one thing being exactly as it was 20 years ago.
well the biggest miracle is that stores like this still exist, and yes the older generation is part of that answer, i know.

I don’t get how Interdiscount gets away with their prices tbh.
I wanted to buy Zelda TOTK at Interdiscount, and it was literally 16.- more expensive then at Digitec or even Fust.
Selling high end +1000.- CHF phones to elders to call their familly.
Dude you’re right with this with a lot of them. Not all, but boooy do i avoid interdiscounts. And the moments they did not interact with me i overhear them giving misinformation to someone else
Edit: Best thing is still people who know me telling me theyd rather listen to them than me as they do it professionally
