  1. The A0-A1.2 Finnish class that I’m taking, dropped from 25 students to 8 students before reaching last chapter of the course.

  2. haluutte oppii suomee vai? tulkaa ulkolaaset tänne euroopan takamaille vaa nii miä opetan kunno murretta eikä mittään turhaa kirjakieltä

  3. I remember how happy I was when Finnish was introduced on duolingo… I was still in highschool and that would always be my favourite pastime during breaks… rakastan Suomea 🥺

  4. Tried it out for myself, I definitely don’t recommend any native speakers to try it because it gets very semantic with your grammar, it wants direct translations, not what someone would actually say.

To any non-speakers I think its enough to get a basic understanding, but I definitely recommend increasing your understanding of Finnish language structure, just because it’s so different from any romance / germanic languages

  5. Hopefully they expand the course!! I enjoy learning on Duo, but now that I’ve finished the course I have to try and teach myself.

  6. Would love a pole about how many of those people saw Käärijä and wanted to understand the finnish in Cha cha cha.
