It was the right decision. The eviction ban longterm would have encouraged non-payment of rent and driven many hardworking landlords to despair.

Whatever about the small landlord with one house but i’m disgusted that we have these foreign investments just swooping in and buying up multiple apartments just to rent them back to us at extremely high prices. These are the people and groups that the government really works for and the Irish people are secondary.
