  2. I don’t think people realise just how bad for the environment animal agriculture is. It is fossil fuel intensive, uses a tonne of land (especially to grow feed) and water intensive. You then have the water pollution caused by all the shit they have to dump off their farms, the loss of biodiversity caused by dissecting habitats, the antibiotic resistance they cause etc. Animal agriculture is just an insane waste of resources (and animal life) that needs to be phased out over the next few decades.

    And this time they get a fairly small fine. It should be prison time and the revocation of their milk production registration.

  4. Par for the course unfortunately, when we were in the EU they were more concerned about the impact this would have on their grant money as this was reduced for these kind of events.
