Terrifying moment four machete-wielding robbers invade father’s home and take daughters hostage

  1. Horrifying. Seeing your family in danger like that and feeling powerless is really bad. Feeling unsafe in your own home, feeling like you failed your family…

    > The disturbed father said he had reported the attack to Greater Manchester Police but didn’t think they were taking the incident seriously.

    > He said: ‘It’s absolutely disgraceful. I left it with the police. But it’s like they’re not bothered.

    > ‘They will only take action when someone is seriously hurt or dead but I don’t want that on my conscious.’

    > Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.

Not a daily mail fan, but I hope they stink up enough that the police feels like they need to do something.

  2. Jesus Christ, what an awful story. I feel so bad for that father and can only hope that his children are able to feel safe in their own home again

  3. But if you try to defend your home against these cunts with a baseball bat or a knife of your own, the police will find plenty of time to investigate you. Fucking filth.

  4. The article literally states there is an active ongoing investigation, yet the police are being slated in the comments for not investigating……

  5. I might be completely wrong but it feels like there’s more to this story. All to steal a Seat Leon? They told the girl it was her dads fault. Feels like an oddly specific comment mid house raid. Terrible nonetheless.

  6. The law should give precisely zero protection to these cunts. If you attack innocent people, then law should no longer protect you from being attacked yourself IMO.

  7. Going to bed before your 12, 7 and 5 year old children, leaving them to watch TV alone, and then also intentionally not locking your door? That’s some serious negligence.
