If they’d actually moved to the Conference Centre as they were supposed to then the work could be well under way by now. Instead they’ve had 3 years (I’m ignoring 2020) of delay, a lot of it due to Rees-Mogg’s tenure as Leader Of The House, and a lot more cost.
Such an excellent symbol and analogy for our incapable and incompetent government(s) and society generally.
Inability, indecision, and inactivity while everything built up by the generations that came before crumbles away.
FFS this has been ongoing probably over a decade. Just kick the fuckers out, get on with it as quickly as possible.
