What on earth are 33 unvetted, unemployed men going to do in a rural area with no amenities nearby? These locals are completly right in their concerns.
No Blacks No Irish…. Easy to forget
Very sad that they have reached the end of a long hard road and are met with isolation, no welcome, no dignity, no empathy. We must all remember they are human beings who have struggled to get to this. To Ireland. Makes me sad and yes, ashamed.
