My Personal view of where the North-South devide lies, primarily based on county and geographical futures.

  1. For me personally I’d say Blackpool to York to Hull is probably the cutting off border for what should be considered North. Anything below that becomes the Midlands.

But it’s hard to feel like a Northerner when you have Scotland lol

  2. North, south, and midlands. Why not draw another line to split the UK into three, rather than two? You clearly want to differentiate the midlands from the south.

  3. My girlfriend would be happy with your assessment. For me as a Surrey boy, I’d start it just above the M25. Which of course her family find hilarious… Just kidding, they think (know) I’m a twat.

  4. The comments are fairly tame for a North South divide post

Normally there’s a horde of angry northerners trying to gatekeep the North and at least 20 people from Leicester adamant they’re from the North.

  5. This is what’s wrong with this country! The north south divid is from Dane law (Viking times and goes from south east to north west! North of Durham to Edinburgh isn’t the north is Northumberland! Everything beyond the actual dane law is somebody’s interpretation to feel included in something!!! But the actual divid comes from Viking times!

    Why post made up misinformation?
