    Why the fuck shouldn’t they? Employment law should be universal because otherwise we’ll become a two tier society where its OK to abuse some people just because they are different

    I love the fact that they are still managing to squeeze Corbyn in to these as well. Give the poor dude a rest

  2. The current system:

    – Refugees aren’t allowed to work until they’ve had their asylum applications processed

    – The Tory government ensures that they will have to wait months or years for their application to be processed so that they can pretend that there is a crisis and demonise refugees

    – They still can’t work even though many of them would like to and we have a labour shortage in all sorts of areas

    – The Daily Mail complain about how much refugees and asylum seekers are costing us

    – The Daily Mail’s least intelligent readers are riled up into furious anger which gets directed at some of the world’s least fortunate people escaping war and oppression rather than the Conservative Party who caused the problem in the first place

    Mick Lynch’s ideas sound a hell of a lot better than any of that.

  3. If this idea was only to apply just to rail workers jobs I wonder how Mick Lynch would feel? The rail bosses could take on 5,000 prospective rail workers on minimum wage even for train drivers and then use them to break strikes.
