I don’t think she’s as bad as made out to be in social media , but then again we all have a relative outlook on reality.
Italians wanted a democratic right-wing government and they got it. That’s how democracy works and liberals should respect and also acknowledge how Meloni could have easily become a Le-Pen or an AfD nut but she embraced Atlanticism, avoids Euroscepticism, and hasn’t provoked any diplomatic unrest with neighbors. She’s a good PM so far and has ruled a stable government so far in a country notorious for having a different PM every new year.
I just hope that seeing her like that won’t convince other countries (mine comes to my mind) that far right is “not that bad”.
