I’m studying the evolution of the pronunciation of vowels in the Polish language, and I need some records of people saying some sentences in Polish to study them. Could you please fill the following form that contains a few sentences? It is no longer than a minute or two and it would greatly help me.

Thanks in advance.

  1. There’s a bit of a gotcha, in that due to the displacements after WWII there’s quite a lot of families who live in regions that don’t necessarily match the family’s origin and the regional dialect that is or was spoken within it.

I, for example, live in Silesia but the family on my grandmother’s side came from Czortków (and for various reasons neither my father nor my mother’s father contributed much to our respective upbringing).

  2. Some of those sentences look wrong. For example, q. 1, determinate “jedzie” looks out of place paired with indeterminate “jeżdżę”, and IMO it should be changed to “jeździ”.
