Hey y’all ! I saw recently that you could get [free refills for certain drinks](https://yourdreamcoffee.com/starbucks-free-refills/) in Starbucks. It’s probably only in the US but I have hope that maybe it isn’t, that one of you tried to ask for one once and got a positive answer 🙂
If you did please put me out of my mystery (of not knowing)

Their chai latte is pretty good, and cookies and cheesecake too. Never heard of refills for either.
To answer the question asked (come on, y’all): never seen a free refill at Starbucks before. You can get a membership card (don’t remember how that works… is it stamps?) but those are unique to country at the very least.
Just go to your local Starbucks and ask about their membership program.
No free refills but they’ll refill your Starbucks cup or coffee flask for a fee

Refilling anything for free in Switzerland is an illusion. I guess the service will even look at you like you’re crazy if you ask for this.

Yes mate, my Starbucks coffee is always free – the first one and the refills. The trick is almost as you said, but you need to ask them nicely.
If they say no, you wait until they call out someone else’s name, then grab theirs and run.
No, the reward program is not very good here.
If you spend 100.- chf at their store you can redeem it for a free drink.
If you instead wait to have spent 250.-, you can become a gold member. Then you get 1 free syrup plus a free drink on your birthday.
That’s the best you get from their rewards program so pretty meh
The only free refills for drinks I have ever seen in CH is at Ikea.
I think this only works when you have gold status on their rewards app, but you can get free refills on hot teas and brewed coffees!

Number one: there are no free lunches in this country.
Number two: why would you go to a Starbucks anyway?
Number three: even if you were forced to go to a Starbucks, WTH would you ask for a refill? That’s like wanting to step in dog poop a second time.
Why don’t you ask them directly?
Ikea has free electric car refills, that’s about the only free refill I know of in Switzerland.
Only thing thats free here is greeting.
