I am used to have some bag (350 gramm) of citrc acid around for all sorts of cleaning; for water kettles, microwaves, dishwasher-glansemiddel or even spots on clothes. Unfortunately, I cannot find it anywhere. I tried REMA, Kiwi, Clas Ohlson. Isn’t this a common thing to use in Norway? Hope anyone can help me out with this. Thank you in advance!

EDIT: I found some ecological products of “[La Droguerie Ecologique](https://glimja.com/varumarke/la-droguerie-ecologique/)” at Glimja including citric acid. I think I will go with these. Thanks for all your replies!

  1. If you want a truly huge amount, just go here: [https://www.felleskjopet.no/husdyr/storfe/mjoelkeku/desinfeksjon/sitronsyre-25kg-citric-acid-18040/](https://www.felleskjopet.no/husdyr/storfe/mjoelkeku/desinfeksjon/sitronsyre-25kg-citric-acid-18040/)

On a more serious note, a lot of immigrant shop carry larger packages of spices, such as the TRS brand: [https://www.handlenor.no/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/TRS-Citric-acid.jpg](https://www.handlenor.no/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/TRS-Citric-acid.jpg) They will usually have citric acid in larger packages than what you can find in the regular grocery stores.

  2. Pharmacies used to carry this a long long time ago. But I believe it was stopped, it’s possible to use it to cut down drugs with.

    But it’s not banned.

  3. You can get it in the Asian food shops. Dunno if they are big enough but sell them in spice bags of around 100g. They are food grade so might be a bit expensive to use for other things than food. I would recommend vinegar instead that is sold cheaply at Europris. Also clas Ohlson has vinegar.

Edit: spice brand is called trs

  4. Beer brewing shops have it. Unless you’re up to some funny business, then they still have it, but we do not condone your funny business.
