Well, Russia is not The West. It really is not a western country. That behaviour would be outrageous here in Finland for example, but in Russia, well, aren’t about 80% of the people some sort of supporters of the war? Usually the smarterst strategy for ordinary people to survive is to accept the common opinion, in all countries. If you are a special guy, then you might try to be a special one and smarter than the others. Few years. Then you just give up, usually. A member of intelligentsia or a member of some minority is a different thing. That kind of people have more strength to be against the common opinion. And of course, we human beings tend to think, that right or wrong, my country. Here in Finland we have some serious issues in some matters, but I support Finland despite of that. I guess these Russian war supporters are more like supporters of Russia, than supporters of the war. What else could they be? If Russians stop supporting Russia, then they should start to learn Chinese.
