  1. After a case of JW child abuse near me I directly handed a leaflet on reporting child abuse that my kids had been given at school to the young teen girl who came knocking on the door with her parents.

That was over a decade ago and they’ve never been back.

  2. All tight knit communities do this, regardless of the their unifying reason. There’s stories about the [IRA](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/oct/14/ira-accused-trying-cover-up-rape-claim) doing it, the [SWP](https://www.theguardian.com/society/2013/mar/09/socialist-workers-party-rape-kangaroo-court), [politicians of all varieties](https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/mar/18/cyril-smith-36-year-cover-up-child-abuse-conspired-fail-victims), [football](https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/nov/25/crewe-barry-bennell-former-board-member) and so on.

Victims of abuse will often find themselves sacrificed on the altar of the ‘Greater Good’.

  3. Locally to me there’s a JW building right next to a supermarket and on a Sunday afternoon just before closing it’s as if someone’s robbed the Primark lorry with all the cheap nylon business-wear roaming around the supermarket.

Weird cult that’s desperate to portray an image of success and prosperity but a cheap suit can be can be clocked a mile away
