  1. > In a hypothetical situation, given the opportunity to vote for any person in the presidential election, the majority (30.2%) of respondents would choose the candidacy of Vladimir Putin, 28.8% find it difficult to answer. 4.1% of respondents would vote for themselves or for a member of their family. This is followed by a number of famous people: E. Prigozhin (2%), A. Navalny (1.8%), V. Zhirinovsky (1.3%), P. Grudinin and S. Furgal (1.1% each). The remaining names are indicated in less than 1% of cases. The option “I would vote for anyone worthy” got 1.6% of the answers, refusal to participate in the voting – 5.9%.

This is bad news for Putin, even if “sociology” shows that only 30% support him. And we know it’s actually not safe to participate in sociology in Russia these days.

  2. > When answering the question “If a **worthy person close to you in terms of views** appeared among the **presidential candidate**s, would you vote for this candidate or for Vladimir Putin?” almost half of the respondents (44.6%) say they would prefer an alternative candidate who is perceived as worthy and close in views. 41.1% would vote for the incumbent President, despite the presence of such a competitor.

Basically, even an ideal candidate that is 100% matching the views of the russians existed, 41.1% would still pick putin.

    That’s fucked up.

The title of the post where **only** 30.2% of russians pick putin and 45% – other candidates, include Stalin and other historical figures and close friends of putin as options. That’s a pretty useless comparison. In a line of asking Republicans “Jesus Christ or Trump?” and then presenting it as “only 20% of Republicans would vote for Trump”, because 80% chose Jesus, which is obviously an impossible option to begin with.

  3. 30% 40% 90% it’s all irrelevant. Russia and its citizens are and will be pariahs for generations to come. Putin is a rabbis riddled dog who has destroyed Russia it’s citizens and it’s standing with no return.

  4. Who votes isn’t important. What is important — who will count the votes – Stalin. Putler will copy this idea once again

  5. Seems that you missed a 1 in font of 30,2. Jokes aside, unless he puts a bullet in his brain I don’t think there will be a chance of someone else becoming president.

  6. Newsline in 2024..

    Front page

“Putin wins landslide election and hails free and fair election process”

    Page two

“Putin’s Closest rival in the heated election commits suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head 3 times then proceeds to hang himself and jump from a 12 storey building”

Putin’s official spokesperson says the Glorious Leader extends his warmest regards to the family.

  7. Sergey Furgal and Avksentieva Sardana had the love of citizens. They were regional governors. But they didn’t run for president. Sergei went to prison, Sardana suddenly fell ill and resigned. Instead of them, Putin’s people are now. There are no elections in Russia, there is a circus.

  8. Don’t worry. Eastern Ukraine will give 300000 % of votes to Putin. This will happen regaldless if Ukraine manages to take back those areas or not.

  9. 30%, so about 50 millions, are still imbeciles or scumbags that like the rapes, maims, tortures, murders that are happening in Russia because of Putin?

People supporting a evil person disgusts me so much that it makes me throw up.

  10. If the other 45% aren’t voting for one person, or enough of them to beat the 30% supporting putin. It doesn’t matter

  11. On the question who would you vote for if not Putin, 30% answered Putin, followed by “myself” on 4%, Prigozhin on 3% and lots of other randoms on less

  12. In Putin’s Russia, you don’t choose the president, the president chooses you. There is no such thing as “elections” in modern Russia.

  13. Problem is that the “other candidates” will

    A) Fall out of windows
    B) Be put in prison
    C) Accidentally ingest Polonium
    D) Shoot themselves twice in the back of the head

And so yet again Putin will remain in power.

  14. This doesn’t mean shit, I was so happy when I saw the stats fro Hungary I went I stayed in line with my family I was optimistic I voted and still FIDESZ won with a landslide, now Turkey same shit data was beautiful and look what’s happening, I’m absolutely sure everything is rigged one way or the other and I will never vote as long as I live
