So many of the most artistic video games ever made (Frostpunk, Pathologic, Stalker) have come from slavic nations. Eastern Europe in general has a design philosophy I find extremely compelling. It’s a form of design where the player is made to feel small, poor, and disempowered. As a designer, I’ve worked tirelessly to emulate this in my most current project. Take a look!

The game is called ***Yuma Will Burn***\-

***Yuma Will Burn*** *is an experimental narrative survival game where choices have long-lasting story and mechanical consequences. Survival mechanics exist alongside a dynamically changing narrative in an uncaring and sadistic world of triage, poverty, and fear.*

I encourage you to check out and wishlist the game with the link above. I’m a biased party, but I think it’s worth your time.

  1. If you want Poles to play your game, don’t call them Eastern Europeans 😀

  2. This man has posted it on socialism 101 and then went straight to poland lmao

  3. Are you aware that Slavic cultures, except for a few aspects, are not interchangeable?
