  1. Our entry was poor compared to everyone else. We had very little stage production, didn’t use the giant video screens for any sort of display, no fireworks, bland costumes etc. I think we may have had a small video hand on the floor that the lead singer interacted with but that was it and that didn’t work for the crowd.

    Even if you look at a somewhat traditional style song like Duje from Albania (the girl with her entire family on stage) had an impressive costume set and visual lighting performance to go with their song.

    We seem to cripple our acts by not providing the budget and effort to make the performance great. We also need to do a much better job getting the song and video out into Europe through available social media platforms (youtube, tik tok etc). Promoting the entry in advance gets the public interested an onboard.

  2. I honestly can’t believe the state of the lad performing for Ireland. It legitimately seems like someone parodying eurovision entries of the 90s.
