Hell yeah
About time
How wonderful! Iohannis must have finished giving away everything we had by now, the veto was the last remaining thing.
He started out as a modest hope and he finishes his terms as a complete disappointment and a bringer of ruin.
This is one of the things that leaves Europe chronically reliant on the US for security.
For better or worse the US is able to react rapidly because the US president has wide latitude to make unilateral decisions in regards to security which can then be later altered or cancelled by Congress.
The EU is set up the other way where you can only act after much debate and political wrangling. Now the US system is obviously imperfect… But the European system makes quick decisive intervention in the case of actual aggression almost impossible.
Russia spent months telegraphing their intention to invade Ukraine and still Europe was not completely prepared. If Russia went into the Baltics or Finland with just days/hours of warning… It would be extremely challenging for Europe to intervene decisively despite absolutely having the means to.

Imagine being a country as Romania and wishing for veto to dissapear….this is beyond stupidity…
Good. We need less countries like Hungary that can block the will of 26 nations just because they love an dictator so much.
EU needs a more unified and fast respose to crises.
