That’s great. I’ve always felt alot more could be done to market the league.
Even having it on telly will boost the profile and encourage casual fans to go see the people who are on the telly. There’s been very little don’t to make it cool in decades.
Was at Pat’s last night. It was good craic and kids enjoyed it too
The facilities need to catch up quickly now.
The fanbase is there. The media coverage is quite good.
The quality of football is decent also.
I think there’s a danger of Shamrock Rovers becoming too dominant though. Like Bayern Munich or PSG.
They’ll be getting crowds of 10,000 by the summer
Fucking atrocious quality of officials/referees in the league, absolutely one of the things holding the league back now after everyone else, clubs, fans et all, have put a huge effort in over the last few seasons in particular to get the league progressing as it is.
Games are great to watch, live in person or on streams.
Fucking state of the refs though.
After all the complaints about GAAgo recently I was curious how the League of Irelands streaming stuff performs. Anyone here use it, please let me know?
