  1. So what, all encrypted messages such an TLS enforced email? That ain’t gonna work. Of courses it’s somebody that doesn’t know anything about it that has drafted such an idiotic proposal.

  2. I assume you wouldn’t get fined for using such an app, but distributing it…

    Would be a shame if someone posted the source code for a messaging client, or TOR.

    Oh wait they already have.

    End-to-end encryption for criminals, but not for the average person. Yeah that definitely improves everything.

    Especially when the backdoor gets found and hackers can freely read credit card data from any online purchase that passes past them.

  3. And considering it is not only one country wanting this, it’s just a matter of time. And there is ever decreasing amount of freedom in Europe and yet another of many reasons why USA is far superior.

  4. Every government desires to outlaw end-to-end encryption. does not imply that they will. They are unable to carry out their duties, such as population management, surveillance, and policing, as a result. Thankfully, more people are realizing the value of privacy.
