Briain was last seen in the County Clare area on the afternoon of Thursday 11th May, 2023.

Missing Person Appeal, Briain Holmes, 16 Years, Kildare. 11th May, 2023.

Gardaí are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing the whereabouts of 16 year old Briain Holmes, who was last seen in Kildare town on Thursday 11th May, 2023.

Briain is described as being approximately 5 foot 10 inches in height, of slim build and has fair hair and blue eyes. When last seen, Briain was wearing black jumper, dark black trousers and black runners.

Gardaí and Briain’s family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Anyone with information on Briain’s whereabouts are asked to contact Kildare Garda Station on 045 527 737, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda Station.

  3. So sorry to hear this – hope he’s found safe. Don’t want to be presumptuous but if there’s mental health issues involved I’m presuming there’s a focus on cliffs of moher area for the search – buses and taxis to visitor center etc.

  4. I hope he’s found safe and well and I’m not trying to be a smartass, but your post has conflicting information. It says he was last seen in both Co. Clare and in Kildare Town. Which is it? If Co. Clare is there a more specific location? It’s a big county.

    I’m in Co. Wicklow so I’m no help to you, but it’s still important to get it right for obvious reasons.

  7. I think it is possible that volunteers for the search would be useful if anyone has time and is nearby who would like to help.

    He is a really lovely young man. Very charming and full of life. Praying for his safety.
