  1. In the minority here, but I very much like O’Toole’s work. His books on the Brexit referendum, especially **Heroic Failure** were tremendous reading, and illustrated a far better understanding of the UK political landscape than most that partook in the vote itself

‘*Three days before the bombing, a* ***reliable*** *informant, known as Kevin Fulton, who spied on the IRA for MI5*’

‘*Reliable*’ Kevin Fulton supplied British army technology to the IRA which killed British soldiers in Iraq

‘*Reliable*’ Kevin Fulton currently keeps company with Tommy ‘EDL’ Robinson

  3. >For ChatGPT, values do not exist. It produces words but it has no way of caring about their meaning in the world. And this is the essence of bullshit – it is language in which nothing is at stake.

What a dull and trite point. I mean yes? Does this warrant an entire opinion piece?

  4. Meh, I already know Fintan’s intent. It’s been rehashed in every article he’s written for decades. Trite platitudes are still based on values after all.
