Britain is being overrun by armies of ‘super rats’ which bred in empty buildings during lockdown and are now invading homes and gardens thanks to bird feeders – as homeowners reveal pests steal food and crawl over them in their SLEEP

  1. “Rats crawl over them in their sleep”. There’s a reason that happens, you know, and it’s entirely your fault. Lmao.

  2. None of the rats are any bigger than normal judging by those photos, and all of them are smaller than some I saw on my mate’s farm 20 years ago.

Surprisingly enough, rats haven’t yet found a way to massively speed up evolution by several orders of magnitude…

  3. Love that the DM is trying to blame even this imaginary super rat problem on the lockdowns.

“You lazy millennials wanted to work from home during the pandemic and now we have SUPER RATS!”

  4. In all fairness for the first time in 12 years I saw rat climbing up the bird feeder the other day in broad day light. Considering I have 4 cats with a cat flap I first thought it was a squirrel but to my amazement it was actually a rat. Good to see some wildlife thriving i say.

  5. Correction: Britain has been overrun by far right Tory talebans thanks to Daily Fail shameful brand of journalism

  6. This is bullshit, it reminds me of claims a few years back of rats that are as supposedly big as cats or some small dogs.

But it is the Daily Fail/Heil, not exactly an outlet known for their quality journalism.

  7. Save yourself a click some dumb cunt fired from the Apprentice wants to flog rat catchers c/w the same ‘fake perspective’ photograph that makes a rat look like the size of a small dog.

  8. >Gas worker James Green…. in 2016. …..Gambian pouched rat….a pet

    Context (and editing) is everything

  9. Isnt this one of those stories that they recycle every few years or something? Think ive seen something about this before.
