The shortest period of daylight and longest night of the year.
This is so depressing, I wonder how in the world Finland could be one of the happiest countries in the world considering that little sunlight.
-12… wow that’s really c… feels like -21. Perrrrkele
My least favorite day of the year. Seasonal depression sucks.
Temperature -12°C, Feels like -21°C
Humidity 69%, Feels like 96%
Sunrise 9:23, Feels like 23:09
Sunset 15:12, Feels like 12:15
send some of that cold over here to the balkans
If only in Poland the day could be so short. I also miss the cold winters, now it’s only -5-1°C. :/
Here in Ireland, the day never arrived. It’s just dark.
Happy Winter Solstice to all my Nordic Brothers and Sisters.
Vitamin D folks, don’t forget it
What happened to abolishing summer/winter time in the EU? They voted on it and then covid happened, and we forgot all about it?
At least is sunny
Everything’s going up from here 🙂
Yay it’s hump day!! That’s good news.
08:48-16:29 for Amsterdam. I guess rookie numbers
I love winter and autumn. The vibes, the social connection, the weather. Probably because I’m born the last day of the year lol
Damn I get a full hour more sun , I’m on the central belt in Scotland.
Dundee 8:45 to 15:35 = 6:50
Although the Orkney’s are 9:06 to 15:10 = 6:04
I consider this day to be the most important day of the year. Three months from now, the sunlight should be at a tolerable level. So what really follows now (ideally), is a three month trip abroad to Spain or somewhere like that. Shame i dont have that luxury.
Reykjavik would like to have a word.
Thanks, I hate it
So many countries never experience the joy of going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark, the light of the world coming and going while you’re working.
Thanks, I hate it.
I feel you, in Bucharest the sun rose at 7 48 and is setting in a couple of minutes at 16 38 and it feels like a very short day.
4:49pm here in Toronto 🙁
Feels like -21? Wut
Correct. Which means everything get’s lighter from here.
