Most the comments here are deleted but I’ve always wondered why the previous issue like this was headline news one day and forgotten the next. As far I know nobody was ever charged which seems odd considering the CCTV around airports

These types of incursions fall under two broad categories:
* 99% are stupid local people playing with a hobby drone and never realizing the safety risk it poses near planes
* 1% are terrorists practicing for eventual drone intercept of planes taking off and landing
